Mall Monday

It was mall day so we packed up and headed to the mall to meet some friends. We were excited to be there and have a little fun since we were snowed in the day before. We never even went outside to play in the snow either. We've had so much snow this year that the novelty has worn off and it wasn't worth getting bundled up to go out into the cold and wet. Next year, when Emmy can walk and it would probably be more fun, we probably won't get any snow. :)


Emily actually crawled up this little slide and turned around and slid down all by herself. I was amazed and thought it was just something that happened but she did it a few times! I was so proud of my littlest girl!

This Taz thing is actually a scale. It doesn't work and, as long as I've been going to this mall, it never has. Today, some little girl (maybe 4-5 years old) crawled into Taz's mouth and got stuck. I was laughing as her little friends were yanking on her arms and legs to get her out. Then, her mom couldn't get her out so they actually called 911. I understand it was maybe a little scary for the girl (and admittedly the mother) but the mom was being a real bitch about it. They shut down the play area so we all had to put our shoes back on, pack up our snacks, and leave. We had fun for the 30 minutes we were there.

Megan threw a fit as we were leaving the mall so that was fun. I was that mom today. Some smart ass in the parking lot said, "someone's not happy mom". Thanks for the news bulletin.

No nap for Megan again today. We're getting ready to go enjoy some sunshine and run off some energy (God knows where she's getting it).
