Another day at the park!

Tuesday was supposed to be a great weather day (and it was) so we made plans to go to the park. Grandma came with us so I would have someone to talk to, help watch the girls, and walk with. Here are my girls waiting to get the day going!

Not out of the stroller for 2 minutes and Emmy found some water to play in. The city was out working on the sprinkler systems at the park so there were some puddles around.

Ready or not, here I come!!
(note: no Emmys were hurt in the photographing of this slide)

This was a cool thing. There were two curvy slides side by side so Megan and I were able to slide down together. She won. I didn't fit very well thus didn't slide very well. Megan had so much fun going down the slides!!

Same slide but we traded sides this time!

I wish I could have gotten them both to look up and smile.
... or at least show their faces ...

They both LOVE being outside and they just can't get enough. Let's face it folks, it's an easier way to let them run around crazy. I typically don't have to clean up the backyard and the more time they're outside, the less mess they make inside! Megan is always asking for "door" which apparently means she wants to go out the door. Emmy crinkles her face and whines when someone opens the door but doesn't let her out. Luckily spring is coming and we'll have even more days we can spend outside. I need one of two things to happen though. 1.) stop raining (snowing) so much and making my yard soggy; or 2.) Emmy needs to start walking instead of crawling. She gets so messy but it's so much fun to watch her go!

Run Megan, Run! Get good and tired and go to sleep tonight!

Look at that balance and determination ... and big diaper butt!

THE END!
