Cranky and Pukey

The day started off pretty rough. Not only did Megan not want to go to bed last night but then she woke up around 4:30 screaming and ready to come down stairs. Literally ready to come downstairs. See the outfit she has on in the pictures? She had that on when I went upstairs to check on her. Lucky Megan got to wear her fashion choice all day long but we didn't leave the house. I finally gave in and brought her downstairs around 5:30 and I made her get in bed with me and lay down, which didn't last long. Before 6:30 she crawled out of bed and started bringing toys back to bed with her. When Em woke up around 7-ish I was met with the distinct smell of puke. Yep, she had puked in her bed sometime in the morning. She wasn't fussier than she normally is when she wakes up and wants out of bed but she had puked. What is it with my kids throwing up in bed and not caring? That's just weird. I needed to hit the grocery store today but I wasn't going anywhere with Cranky and Pukey. Since Megan hasn't been sleeping well for the last week she has been beyond grumpy. Tantrums are a new norm around here and I can only hope they stop when she starts sleeping again, which I am really hoping will be next week, at the latest.

Swing?

She's getting really good at pointing at what she wants.

Typically, her pointing is accompanied by fussing, like at breakfast when the cheerio box was sitting in front of her and her tray was empty. It's fun watching her grow and learn new things every day and it's amazing how different the two of them are and how differently they develop.

Spring cleaning!

Em is sick. Megan isn't sleeping.
