Emily seems to be sleeping better and getting into a little more of a routine. She still doesn't spend very much time awake during the days but it's not really affecting her nightime sleep either. I wish I could remember how Megan was at this age but you just don't remember those things. She's not lethargic or anything, she just sleeps a lot. Well, technically she's only a couple weeks old (adjusted age from her due date, March 13) so I guess that's OK. Sleeping in her chair has made a difference. I feed her around 11-ish at night and she gets up around 3-ish then 7-ish. This morning I was able to shower after she woke me up before she completely melted down. I have to give her the Prevacid about 30 minutes before she eats but I think she likes the taste because it usually soothes her a little. Megan woke up while I was feeding Emily and we've been go-go-going ever since. Emily is getting so big and it is so good to see. I packed up all her preemie clothes and actually washed all her 3 month clothes because she has started to outgrow some of her newborn things already!! She has her appointment with the gastroenterologist today and I'm sure they'll weigh her so I'm anxious for that. I have a doc appointment on Friday and I can't wait because I want to know how much I weigh on their scale. My scale at home has me down 28 lbs from pre-pregnancy but I'm not sure how accurate it is since I didn't have that scale pre-pregnancy.
So I'm off to get the house cleaned since the maids are coming today. :-)
