Guess what!

Emily weighs 8 pounds!!

She had to have her monthly (second and last) dose of Synagis today. It is a medication that helps reduce the threat of severe RSV infection and is given monthly throughout the RSV season (October - April around here). You have to have a really good reason for receiving the shot because it is exorbitantly expensive and insurance won't cover it for just anyone. The best part about the trip was finding out she weighs 8 pounds. (and the M&M McFlurry I had for lunch on the way home. mmmmm) She really is getting bigger every day. It is just incredible. Now, she has three whole weeks without a doc appointment but I have one coming up -booo! Then they kind of pick up again. Her next important date is with the Cardiologist on Tax Day.
