It is raining cats and dogs and has been since last night. I have this really cool rain gauge that is mounted on top of our patio cover and sends the amount to a display inside the back door. So far it has rained ... oh that's right ... IT'S NOT WORKING!!!!! BOOOOOOOO!! We had some power flickers last night and the dog had me up from about 1230 to about 230 because of the thunder then Meg got me up at 400-430 then James got up at 430 then Meg was back up at 530 and ready to eat. So ... I'm barely functioning though I have had breakfast and a shower already and I'm just waiting on the dryer repair guy - again. It's not like I want to do laundry but my mom and I just bought-out Carter's so Meg would have some clothes that fit and I haven't washed any of them because of the dryer. There is a charcoal colored felt that goes between the tumbler drum and the actual dryer unit and our drum isn't round so the felt is exposed and is leaving little black marks on our clothes. The marks don't come out so I decided to wait for repairs before drying all her cute new clothes in that crazy defective dryer. I'll never buy another Maytag anything. We've had problems with both our washer and dryer and the fridge. Maytag sucks. Anywho ... I am excited to get all her new gear washed so she's not spilling out of her onesies and losing circulation from her pants. :) chunky monkey.
I'm done with the breastfeeding/pumping. I am so glad to have it all behind me so I don't really have to worry about what I'm eating ... or drinking ... and I can do pretty much what I want when I want. And I can take antihistamines again! The warmer than usual weather has brought out the worst in my nose! The only problem I have is ... OUCH! The pain. The horrible terrible pain. I really didn't think it would be that bad. I mean, to stop in the beginning or to never start breastfeeding I would understand the engorgement and pain but it's not like I was her only source of food. It's not like I was cranking out 30 oz. in a day. Seriously, this isn't fun. But, just like sleepless nights, it too will pass.
"They're" forecasting snow tonight. Up to 3-4 inches even! I can't wait to see if they're right. Meg's first snow! I don't think she has anything warm enough to wear outside so she might not get pictures in it this time. I can't believe this will be our first snow of the winter ... and it's almost spring! It is definitely a chili night so I think I might get that going soon and throw it in the crock to simmer all day. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm spicy!
