On Emily's 3rd birthday, we started gymnastics. Megan really enjoyed it and Emmy wasn't so sure. Well, Em kept going for a month and a half, once a week, before we finally pulled the plug. She didn't want to go so I wasn't going to force her. It clearly wasn't her "thing" but maybe we'll try again when she gets a little older. here are a couple pics from their first day. Megan is still going and loving every minute of it.
After Gymnastics, we brought home McDonald's and celebrated with Grammy and Grandma. They came over to give presents and have cupcakes with the big 3 year old!
Yes, later that night we celebrated as a family. More cupcakes and more presents! A very full day but she handled it well. Sure there was fighting over the new toys but that's to be expected.
I think Matthew had his fill of parties though.
The following weekend was Emily's official party at My Gym. It was great and I would go back there for a party in a heartbeat! The girls who ran the place were terrific and I think everyone had a great time. Don't want to speak for everyone but you can take a look at the pics and judge for yourself.
