So we got the girls dressed and went to Christmas Eve mass at Grammy's church. We had to arrive early to get a seat but we got a perfect seat. We had a row to ourselves with seats for each girl. I know, maybe on Christmas Eve when it's standing room only, maybe a 2 year old doesn't need a seat BUT I certainly wasn't going to hold her for two hours. The girls were great in Mass, coloring, reading, and playing with their cars. After communion, when we tried to return to our seats, Em LOST IT. I can't believe she punked us right in front of Grammy like that. Grammy doesn't need to know we typically leave after communion. Shhhhh! Kid! Quiet! After Mass we went out in search of something to eat. Saltgrass had a 45 minute wait and that wasn't going to happen with two hungry toddlers (and a hungry tired pregnant lady ... on a cold rainy night). We eventually stopped in at El Fenix. YUM! Merry Christmas to me!! The girls were happy to be home. Oh, and I have to say they LOVED their Christmas dresses. Megan kept spinning around in hers showing off the tutu! Here's a pic of the fam ... Em wasn't happy about being held. She was ready to run around a while!
So it was time for Christmas cookies!
YUM-O!
Apparently Christmas cookie time is also time to spin around on the kitchen floor in your fancy dresses too.
After Kitchen Floor Spinning it was time to jump on the bed!
See, she's a happy kid (when she gets her way)!
Time to go to bed so Santa cam come ...
