Question

If someone is leaving your house to go shopping and they told you to take care of the little one - and yes, they mean your child - take care of your own little baby - do you get offended? I'm losing my mind here. I have a few moments of peace and quiet and I intend to savor them with my closest friends ... and those I don't even know ... on the internet. hee hee! I hope everyone is done with their *insert holiday here* shopping. I wrapped up my Christmas shopping this morning with a quick trip to Target, Bath and Body Works, and Linens N Things. Seriously, I was only gone for an hour. I can't stay away from home too long these days because the boobs will explode on me. Have you noticed that I have been WAY over sharing these days? James even said I over-share now that he witnessed the whole birth process. Anyways - y'all just have to deal with it.

James gave me a gift for giving him a baby girl. It's a beautiful silver necklace that came in a pretty little blue box! :-) It is a lock with an "M" inside it. I tried to copy a pic from their website but I guess they don't like you do that because I couldn't. I just didn't want to wait until Christmas to open it and since it wasn't technically a Christmas gift I was able to convince him to let me have it now. I mean, when there's a little blue box under the tree all bets are off!

Really the only reason I'm blogging is so I can share some new pics. We're still camera happy here. Poor Megan, I know the flash going off in her face isn't good for her little eyes but I can't help myself. Besides, she needs to stay awake a little during the day. OH - and last night she gave us about 6 hours between her pre-bedtime feeding and her middle of the night feeding. She was fussing at 2 am so I stuck the pacifier in her mouth hoping for a few more minutes but didn't wake up until 4 am!! I know that won't be an every night thing but it sure was a nice surprise last night. Then it made me wonder if something was wrong!! :-) All is well! Here are my new pics ...
