Another Trip to L&D

So Tuesday night I started feeling crummy. I couldn't breathe out of half of my nose and I knew a cold was coming. Wednesday night, it started to settle in my throat and I started coughing. I couldn't sleep and spent about an hour and a half on the couch watching TV in the middle of the night. I had some contractions too so that wasn't fun. They were every 5 minutes but painless so I was almost sure they were nothing to worry about. Thursday morning, I had a few more while dropping the girls off at school so I called the doc. She sent me back to the hospital. They did another FFN test and it came back negative so I should have AT LEAST 2 more weeks of being pregnant. They also did a urinalysis, which came back positive for a little bit of a UTI (never had that happen before) so I was sent home with two antibiotics and instructions to rest, drink lots of water, and pee. I did have a few contractions while I was hooked up to the monitor this time so I wasn't crazy. One actually kind of hurt so I thought I was going to be on lockdown after that but they set me free! The contractions stopped when I peed. Funny how that works.

I finally got in touch with Dr. P's surgery scheduler. The Boy will be born on Tuesday, May 31st. I will be 38 weeks pregnant so, IF I make it to my scheduled c-section date, and I doubt I will because that's just not how I roll, I will be more pregnant than I have ever been. :-D I don't even have to check in at the hospital until 9:00 am so we won't have to get up at the crack of dawn!! We're happy to have it scheduled and have a plan, even though we know shit happens.

The girls are enjoying school. I'm glad they're healthy enough to go since they were sick then had spring break. They are growing more and more each day. Emily is turning into a little girl right before my eyes and Megan keeps surprising me with how much she notices things. They are a constant source of laughter (and frustration) for me and each other. I am so lucky to be able to spend my days with them.
