With the limited number of free weekends we have before The Boy is born we are trying to have as much fun as possible with the girlies. Of course, we're also trying to make up for me not being able to take them out to do fun things too. So Saturdays are Daddy Days and we've been having a great time! The girls love, love, LOVE going to the mall. I wish I could say it was for the shopping but I'll be honest, they like the play area, the carousel, and watching the ice skaters much more than they enjoy watching me spend money. It was only natural to spend one of our fun Saturdays at the mall and we threw in a trip to Build A Bear too! The girls each made a bear for themselves and we also picked one out for little brother.
Megan is getting instructions to kiss her bear's heart before putting it in.
The official hug test to make sure the bear is fluffy enough.
I think both of them are good.
This is the fluffing station where the bears get a blow-out for their beautiful fur!!
The bears are trying on the outfits the girls selected.
Time for lunch!! Megan is my pizza monster.
(I have no idea where she gets that!)
Em LOVES her chickens ... especially when there's an unlimited supply "dip dip"!
A ride on the carousel with Daddy!!
We also hit the Disney Store (yes, we're suckers) and had some cookies before we left. I think they like going to the mall with Daddy more than they like going with just me. I can't imagine why! After they took a short nap we spent the rest of the evening outside. Wearing them out on a Saturday is good thing since it limits the number of trips we have to make upstairs after we've said goodnight. Oh, and they absolutely LOVE playing outside.
We even dined on the patio.
Yes, Emmy is having more chickens. Don't judge.
Time to clean up ...
... and have a popsicle!!
