I used to think these 3D ultrasound pictures were kind of creepy looking but now that my doc uses them every time I go in, I'm warming up to them. Here are some quick factoids on how things are progressing ...
* My due date is June 8, 2011.
* Baby will likely come 2 weeks before my due date, via c-section.
* After the kazillion ultrasounds I've had so far, he is still a "he".
* I am 22 weeks 1 day along.
* Babies born at 24 weeks have a 50/50 chance of survival.
* He is measuring about a week bigger than normal at 1 lb 3 oz. (Grow baby, GROW!)
* My weekly shots are going very well, headaches and backaches aside.
* My cervix is still holding strong at 4.4 cm. We don't worry until it drops under 3. 5 is "very good".
* Fluid levels are great (and I have a little history of wonkiness there).
* Placenta is well out of the way.
* I would be happy to report my weight gain but I see the real OB tomorrow - prolly about 10 lbs?
* I have 8 weeks until I reach Emmy's gestational age when she was born.
* I'm shooting for another 16 weeks - to be more pregnant than I have ever been at 38 weeks!!
* I'm feeling his kicks and punches frequently and start to freak out if I don't.
So all signs are pointing towards a strong, healthy pregnancy, so far. My blood sugar numbers are starting to creep up so I'm going to have cut back on the carbs (Booo!). That's all for now! I see my regular OB tomorrow and I go back to the high risk guy on the 21st.
