We finally decided it was time to get Megan's haircut. We knew it was going to be a disaster because Megan's not very fond of strangers ... or having her hair messed with. She didn't disappoint. The poor lady that did her hair was a saint and just trimmed it away through all the screaming, tears and snot. Megan sure liked her lollipop afterward!! We weren't too sure what it would look like once it was dry and we were thinking she didn't do a very good job but it looks really good now. I've given up my new leave in conditioner to Megan so her hair is a little more manageable now. We should probably use better shampoo on it because it's really dry and crazy (thanks to winter) but I still want to use something tear-free so Suave it is!
Emily was having so much fun watching Dora and driving her red fire truck while Megan cruised in the Taxi and screamed that we decided to go ahead and get Em's cut too. We thought maybe if we start a little earlier with her she won't be so upset about it. She was an angel!! The lady did not earn her money cutting Em's hair though. She didn't have much to begin with and she didn't scream like Megan.
We actually got a pic of Em during the cut since she wasn't screaming. Neither of us felt like snapping a pic of poor Megan, though it would have been a good one to pull out later. :-) Good times!!
