All Better Now!

We were all sick but we're all better now. Poor little Emily had it so bad we had to cancel her birthday party!! We still had Grammy and Grandma over and she had some cake (well, mainly just some frosting). It was a good day but we were very happy we didn't have her party. She was feeling so bad that day that she went down for a nap in the morning and slept through the entire time we had scheduled for her party. It would have been funny to have people over for a sleeping one year old.

Poor Em on her actual birthday. So snotty and sleepy that her eye was droopy!

Yet another thing that freaked me out since she had shots that day but it's back to normal now!

Megan was the nice big sister and opened her gift for her. We wanted her to have her new bath toy for her bath that night. It wasn't until after my "First Birthday Photo Op" that we learned here fever was 102. Poor kid. Mommy just wanted a picture of her birthday!!

Totally different on Saturday. We were feeling kind of silly for cancelling the party because she was in such good spirits but I'm pretty sure nobody would have wanted to be at our house or anywhere near any of us.

You can still see that she doesn't feel good during her bath. She played hard with her new toys while Grammy and Grandma were here. She went to be early and slept well that night.

That's all for now. Megan is up from her nap and is finally tired of waiting for me to come get her. We've been so stir crazy lately with being sick and the cold weather!! We actually went to the mall today to play with some friends!! (I got to spend some of my Christmas gift cards too!) It was nice yesterday so we got to play outside. I think it might be a little late to go outside now. :-( Hopefully we'll have more good weather tomorrow, or later this week. We love playing outside. Basketball, soccer, tee ball! WOOHOO!
