Medical bills suck! You would think everything would be resolved by now. The child is 6 months old. Scars have healed. Memories are fading. Medical bills apparently are like cockroaches. CIGNA has their heads so far ... well, I'm sure you get the picture. I have the ins co saying they sent checks, the provider saying they have no checks, the ins co saying they will stop payment and reissue said checks, the provider saying they have no checks, the ins co saying said checks have "been cashed", the provider saying they have no checks, the ins co now saying one of said checks was stopped and not reissued but the other one was reissued but they can't tell me if it cleared because they don't have access to that info, provider now wanting fax from me proving ins co sent check and wouldn't take ck# and issue date over phone and didn't even care to ask me for payment. The crazies are running the asylum. The monkeys are running the zoo. The imbeciles are running the insurance companies and the medical billing departments. You know, the real kicker is I would gladly give them their $90.57 if someone would just tell me it has not been, and will not be, paid by CIGNA. Until then, I will continue my little part in this three ring circus run by clowns.
