G-R-O-S-S

Let me preface this by saying I love being a mom and I know I'm lucky I get to stay at home with Megan. These little experiences are priceless. Let me also warn you that you probably won't laugh about this, you might actually throw up a little in your mouth, if this has never happened to you. About 4 months ago, this story would have made me rethink the whole thing.

That being said ... the little booger got me good. I was feeding Megan her first meal of the day and she had just finished her last few sips so I was moving her from my lap to my shoulder for a good burp when she errupted. Her spit up hasn't really been all that bad and I know I'm lucky in that respect. It comes and goes, and usually the first meal of the day sets the spit-up tone for the day. That morning, I learned a hard lesson. I was never happier that I actually had a bra on under my pj's because that's where it all pooled after it flowed down my chest, between the lactating stripper boobs.

I know others have stories that could be worse. Someone told me a few weeks ago that their little one got them in the mouth. Then there's always the boys who spray pee everywhere that can end up in faces too but somehow pee is just not as gross as partly digested breastmilk.

eeeewwwww. i really can't believe I'm posting this. Maybe I should learn not to have a couple glasses of wine before posting. ;-)
