Another Monday is here. Another week. It's like Mondays don't mean anything to me anymore. Mondays aren't really different than any other day of my week except the TV shows are different and James is home. The part about James being home is good but with a baby in the house things are pretty much the same for me 7 days a week.

Megan made the big move over the weekend. Well, actually we are taking baby steps. She isn't upstairs in her own crib just yet but at least she's not in our room anymore. We moved her pack n play into the guest room so she's still downstairs. I haven't really been getting much sleep lately though because we're also trying to break her of being swaddled and she's not very happy about that. She's not eating when she wakes up in the middle of the night but it would be nice if she would stay asleep. The Zantac hasn't been working for the reflux either. She's still fussy and acts like she's in pain while she's eating and she's still spitting up a lot so she'll be starting Prevacid tomorrow. The doc expects it to start working within a couple days so hopefully this will work. I really don't mind the spit up but it just seems so painful. :(

James and I finally celebrated Valentine's Day and my birthday but instead of a nice meal we spent a couple hours at our sports bar and had wings and three pitchers of beer while my mom stayed with Megan. We probably went there once a week before I got pregnant so it was fun to be back there, even though it wasn't the nice romantic dinner we had planned. It was a little strange knowing we only had a limited amount of time before our babysitter turned into a pumpkin and knowing we shouldn't have too much fun because we still had to care for Megan when we got home. Having kids sure changes your life, 24/7/365. Even when you're out without her and things seem to be like they were before ...

Sorry to hear that Megan is still having tummy issues! :-( Hopefully the new stuff will work better!!
Glad you got a fun evening out- wings and beer sound perfect to me!! ;-) It is nice to have those nights out like you had before kids! That's so important!! :-)

ITs all about the baby steps. She'll be in her own room by the time she's 2, maybe 3 :)
