Did you know we're in the summer already? HAHA. It was downright HOT yesterday and really warm and muggy this morning. We had THUNDERSTORMS overnight and again tonight. It's February. I guess the weather really is unpredictable. And, at times, annoying.

Do you know what else is annoying? Using the elevators at the mall. Shopping with a stroller has it's pros and cons. :-) The stroller has a little cargo space to carry things that are usually heavy like a bag of goodies from Bath and Body Works and your purse, that actually doubles in size when you have a baby to carry all the crap you just might need on an outing with baby. So what's the problem? You can't take the stroller on the escalator (well, you probably could but then people frown at you and point) so you have to strategically plan your routes through the mall to avoid the annoying "can I show you something" skin product sales people at the kiosks. Failing to make such a strategy might also result in missing out on a Cinnabon or smoothie when you really want to stop and inhale too many carbs and calories.

This is going to be an interesting week because James is in NYC again so I'm a single mom for three nights. I like to think I have it all together and can handle it perfectly but I'm barely hanging on. Don't get me wrong, me and Meg are doing fine but the house is an absolute wreck. The dog is lucky to get fed, I'm barely getting the bottles washed, and you can forget about the mountain of laundry I have to do. I need to clean out the pantry (I'm guessing I have some fuzzy bread in there) and go to the grocery store. Of course, instead of doing any of that stuff, I'm blogging and watching Aggie basketball on TV. My mom and I have been hanging out during the day so it has been a lifesaver to have someone else there to hold the baby at times.

Megan has been steering herself towards a routine over the past few days. It's not really the one I wanted for her but it's a routine none-the-less. The past few nights, she had her last meal between 8-9 at night and didn't eat again until 3-4 in the morning.

And speaking of, since it's about 8:00, it appears to be time to think about her next meal. Or so she's letting me know ...

Reagan is on the same schedule. I have to get a shower and get ready for work after the 4am feeding, so feel lucky that you get to go back to bed. It does get better so hang in there. Megan is a cutie. I know you are enjoying every minute with her.

It is good your mom comes over to help with Megan so you can get some stuff done!
