We took our first walk today. I know we could have done this sooner but I've been waiting for the poor dog to heal. She's been on 'bed-rest' for a couple weeks so today seemed like a good time to test her shoulder. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL outside today. Definitely NOT your typical North Texas January day and I'm lucky to get to enjoy it. Megan and I were both bundled up but shed some layers before we got home. It was good to get out and if the weather is still nice tomorrow I think we'll do this again. I think the dog was the happiest though. She hasn't been out sniffing the mailboxes in about two months so there was lots of new for her to catch up on!!

Saturday, we went to the tree farm to find a new tree for our front yard. It is the same place we bought the two trees for our backyard. It was a sunny day but chilly and windy so Megan was all bundled up. I'm glad I learned she likes that sling because it was an easy way to carry her around (out of the wind) while we picked out a pretty Oak tree. It was her first real 'road-trip' of any length because the place is about an hour north of here (and we stopped at Sonic on the way). Just had to put the pic on here because it was too cute! The hat is still a little big for her giant head and when we got there she put on the matching sweater over her pink fleece overalls. All these cute outfits that will only fit for a couple weeks. I gotta stop spending money on baby clothes.

In the time it took me to do this blog entry I ate a whole sleeve of Ritz crackers. Is that bad? I'm going to cut it short ... 90210 is on and Noah has been kidnapped and they're looking to Dylan for the money. Matt and Kelly are going on a couples game show. I LOVE SOAP NET!
