Matthew was searching for his stuff. The Bunny kind of cheated him. I mean, he doesn't eat candy and our bunny doesn't bring a whole lot of toys like some other bunnies do. So Matthew went off in search of his own Easter FUN!
After Mass, James went to pick up his mom and he took the girls with him so the Easter Bunny chose that time to hide eggs in the backyard. Before they all got back, it started POURING rain. We postponed the hunt and waited for the rain to stop but that never happened. Matthew didn't partake in the egg hunt but the girls LOVED running around with their umbrellas in search of soggy candy-filled eggs.
Later that afternoon, while Emily slept peacefully on the couch, Moo put her dress back on (because, well, she loves dresses) and we went outside for some bubble fun. The Princess bubble machines were a gift from Grammy. Matthew joined us for some fresh air but stayed safe (dry) in the stroller.
It was a good Easter and the Bunny has learned his/her lesson. If there are dark clouds and thunder, hide the eggs inside.
