Potty Questions

I don't even know if anyone out there has any advice to offer and if you don't like poop-talk, just close the browser now.

M has gone poo poo in the potty two days in a row. She also goes tee tee in the potty, but only on her terms of course. She'll usually say no if I ask her and she'll hop right off if I make her sit on the potty. She never goes before her bath or bed. Which is what leads me to my question ...

She only goes tee tee on the potty about twice a day. Sometimes she'll need a change after her nap (IF there is a nap) and she's almost always wet when she gets up in the morning but there usually aren't any accidents while she's awake. How often should I expect the child to have to go? She drinks plenty of milk, water, and juice so it's not like I'm withholding fluids.

I'm just happy she's getting the hang of it. She resisted at first so I figured I would have a 4 year old in diapers (and Em would still be using a paci at 3 - hahaha! - what a mess we would be).

Thanks for your help!

I think it sounds like she is making great progress. Although I have boys, and they seem to potty train later than girls. Both my boys did not potty train until 3 and wore pull ups at night until 4 years old.

I don't recall about how many times they should go, but at least no accidents. I had the opposite with Keaton. He drank ALL day long and still does. I thought I would never get him potty trained because he was constantly drinking and going pee pee.

Don't stress it...not event he paci. Cort was 3 before we gave up the paci. It was his security item.
