What a Vacation!

Happy 4th of July!! A little late ... but we're still celebrating. We went to the Rangers game Wednesday night and they actually won. They had a fantastic fireworks show after the game too. The rain stayed away and it was really pleasant outside with a nice breeze blowing so it was a great night. Last night, James and I went to VC (the local sports bar). It's just not the same when you're drinking water but we still had fun watching 'Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader'. Nice show to have on at a bar, huh? Tonight we're going to dinner and to the Keith Urban concert! WOOHOO!

So I went to the doctor this morning. I had been having some very light spotting and was really freaking out. I called them twice and the second time they agreed to squeeze me in for an ultrasound and a visit. The ultrasound doc was available at 7:00 am today so it was an early morning for us. Thankfully everything is OK with the baby ... and me except I gained a ton of weight in the last two weeks. hmmmmm. Anyways - the lady got a good shot at 'the goods' and it would appear we're having a little girl. James is getting over the initial shock of the mere idea of having to pay for a wedding in the future. ha ha ha! On the way home, after breakfast at IHOP (yum), we stopped at Lowe's and picked up some paint colors. We didn't have any color cards for pink, green, or purple but now we have them all!

I wanted to share my pics from this morning! The first one is the skeletor face shot that makes me think I'm having a demon baby and the second is from the bottom up, looking at the two legs and you'll notice the nice little arrow pointing at my daughter's hoo-ha!! :-)
