OK - Everybody has me worried now. I know 16 weeks (and actually, she measured 16w4d) is early to see baby's gender in an ultrasound but the fact that everyone else has mentioned that to me has me a little worried. We've started thinking 'girl' full time and we even went out and bought the nursery bedding!! Yes, we can return it but I don't want to. It's really cute and it was actually on sale! Besides, I'm getting used to the idea of a girl, and even poor James is coming to terms with all the future expenses that come with having a daughter. We're ready to paint the room and get everything set up but now I'm really thinking we should wait until after my next sonogram. I still have my appointment scheduled for July 25th, which is only 2 and a half weeks away so I suppose we can wait. I'll be just about 19 weeks then so they should be able to know for sure, right? I mean, if they get another good shot like they did last week. So now is when you leave me messages of reassurance that they got it right and I can continue on my journey to find a name for my daughter.

All my gender worries aside ... the Keith Urban concert was AWESOME! My child (daughter) will either grow up loving or absolutely hating country music. It was a very loud and flashy show but it was a lot of fun! Baby must think Mom is crazy - I was surprised to find that concerts are fun even without the beer. Who knew? And I have to admit, Keith Urban isn't that hard to look at. :-) We ate dinner at Texas de Brazil before the concert so this child will definitely be a beef eater. They just come by your table and offer meat, the whole time you're there. That's after you go to the "salad bar" that really doesn't have much salad. It had sushi, potatoes, lobster bisque, cheeses, vegetables, etc. WOW! Then you leave your little card on the green side and they just keep bringing the meat. Chicken, sausage, lamb, bacon wrapped filet, garlic tenderloin, and more and more and more beef. It's like Pancho's where you raise the flag ... but a whole lot nicer. ha ha! I recommend it if you like meat. If you don't, probably not such a good way to spend your money.

I am sure you are good to go with 'girl' -16 weeks is plenty far enough to determine the gender I would say. Besides, a turtle and a hamburger bun look quite different! ;-)
That restaurant sounds GREAT!!! Yum!! Yeah, Stacy- that might not be the best choice for you!! ;-)
